Do It In The Morning!

by margaret turner

Have you ever reached the limit of your decision-making ability? When you simply can’t make another decision, no matter how minor?

Chances are that you reached that limit at the end of the day.

According to a neuroscientist referenced in The Globe and Mail, every decision uses up some of our neuro-resources. A day full of decisions, small or large, can take us to the limit of our decision-making ability.

If you’re a parent you already know how difficult it can be to respond to your children’s needs for answers and decisions after a long workday. But now you can know why—you’re neurologically depleted.

So do it in the morning: make your big decisions early in the day. You’re better equipped, and more apt to make a good decision.
