Vote Everyday Scavenger Hunt
Hey, Guelph! In honour of B Corp month and the launch of the Vote Everyday campaign, we have planned a fun scavenger hunt to show how many awesome B Corp businesses are in your city. Many you probably already know and love and hopefully this can be your introduction to those you have not crossed paths with yet. Plus, you can win an awesome B Corp prize pack!
What is B Corp exactly?
B Corp is a certification for businesses who envision a global economy that uses business as a force for good. This economy is comprised of a new type of corporation - the B Corporation - Which is purpose-driven and creates benefit for all stakeholders, not just shareholders. As B Corporations and leaders of this emerging economy, we believe:
- That we must be the change we seek in the world.
- That all business ought to be conducted as if people and place mattered.
- That, through their products, practices, and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm and benefit all.
- To do so requires that we act with the understanding that we are dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.
Our local B Corps have come together with some awesome prize packs for this Scavenger Hunt. Print or pick up your score card from one of the participating businesses, then follow the instructions in each box to be entered.
Download and print the scorecard. Complete each task on the scorecard and post a photo to social media, tagging the relevant business and using the hashtags #heyguelphvotebcorp and #votebcorp.
This scavenger hunt will run from Tuesday, March 26th, 2019 to Monday, April 15th, 2019. All submissions must be received at Miijidaa, 37 Quebec Street, Guelph, ON, by 9pm on Monday, April 15th, 2019.
Tip: Make sure that your social media accounts are set to public so that we can see those photos!
